My Design Journey
I believe a home should feel like the people who live in it.
Hi, I’m Shraddha, though most of my clients call me Shra. I live in Princeton, NJ with my busy family, including three kids and two cats, so I know a home has to be beautiful and also work hard every single day. Good design isn’t one big decision. It’s color, layout, lighting and proportion all working together until a room just feels right.
The Foundation
My design work began in new construction. I’ve taken homes in Princeton from empty lot to finished interior, including my own custom home and new-construction homes built for the market. On every project, I was involved in each decision, from floor plans and architectural details to kitchens, baths, lighting and hardware. Since then, I’ve designed spaces for clients across the Princeton area, from dining rooms and primary suites to kitchens, bathrooms and great rooms. Before design, I studied finance and nursing as an undergraduate, worked in finance, and earned my master’s degree from George Washington University. That background still shapes how I work: I’m organized, I respect a budget, and every project has a clear plan.
Our Philosophy
My goal is to design a home with a personality that matches yours. Every project starts with getting to know you: how you live, what you love, what drives you crazy about your current space, and how you want to feel when you walk in the door. From there, I pull it all together so the finished space feels like you, not a showroom.
